Your First Visit

Feel prepared, comfortable, and confident before your first appointment.

What to Expect

Your first appointment includes a detailed conversation, physical assessment, and a personalized care plan.

Personalized care, at your pace.

Your first visit is about understanding YOU. We take time to listen, assess, explain, and answer your questions so you feel informed and comfortable with your care.

You are an active partner in your treatment. Dr. Humphries will explain the options available to you, discuss the benefits and risks, and advise you on the best treatment options that align with your goals before starting care.

Care beyond the adjustment

Your treatment plan may include a combination of:

  • Chiropractic adjustments or joint mobilizations

  • Soft tissue therapy

  • Exercise and rehabilitation

  • Stretching and mobility work

  • Posture, ergonomic, and lifestyle advice

  • Sports injury care

  • TMJ, concussion, or vestibular-focused care when appropriate

  • Custom orthotics, bracing, or compression sock recommendations

Every patient has their own unique needs and approach. Your care will be based on your assessment findings, goals, preferences, and comfort level.

What Should I Bring?

Please bring:

  • A valid health card or government-issued ID

  • Insurance or benefits information, if applicable

  • Any relevant medical reports, imaging, or referral notes

  • A list of medications or major health conditions

  • Comfortable clothing that allows you to move

  • Shorts or athletic clothing if we are assessing your lower back, hip, knee, ankle, or foot

If you do not have imaging or reports, that is okay. Many patients do not have imaging before their first visit.
